Fox Engineering, an SBA Certified HUBZone Business
FOX Engineering Is pleased to announce that it has received the distinct certification as a HUBZone Business. The Small Business Administration’s HUBZone Program was established to promote job growth, capital investment, and economic development to historically underutilized business zones, referred to as HUBZones, by providing contracting assistance to small businesses located in these economically distressed communities. There are only 56 businesses in WV with this certification. FOX Engineering is the only Civil Engineering Design Firm and Surveying firm HUBZone Certified in West Virginia. FOX Engineering is also a commercial Contractor capable of projects from heavy highway applications to commercial building construction. FOX’s principal office is located in Ripley, West Virginia. The entire Jackson County area has been subject to record highs in unemployment due to the closing of a major aluminum company. FOX Engineering hopes to utilize the HUBZone Certification to procure government contracts which will provide job opportunities to these skilled men and women who are highly motivated and ready to get back to work.
