FOX Engineering is a complete structural design company started by Jennifer Fox on November 1, 2000 .  Certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in West Virginia in July of 2001, FOX Engineering has had the opportunity to work with several very accomplished consulting firms and knows the complexities associated with multi-firm projects.  We promise to always work toward a common goal – while making sure the goals are set high enough.  With five professional engineers and a licensed land surveyor on staff, FOX (certified DBE in WV, IN, and OH) offers the following services:  

:: Structural Design – Complete structural design of various structure types, from small culverts and retaining walls to large multi-span curvilinear structures.   

:: Structural Condition Inspection – Adherence to the NBIS Program Qualifications.  Registered Professional Engineers with experience in long and short span bridges, culverts, tunnels and buildings.  

:: General Civil Engineering – While structural design is a specialty of FOX Engineering, general civil engineering services are available as well.  These include site development, plan preparation, hydraulic calculations, and preparation of permit packages.  

:: Highway Design – Complete design of various roadway projects ranging from rural two-lane roads to four-lane divided highways.

:: Construction Inspection – FOX Engineering is committed to providing quality inspectors familiar with the WVDOH policies and procedures in executing and constructing highway projects.   

:: Surveying – We are able to accommodate small boundary surveys or large topo surveys.  Our licensed surveyors have both design experience and construction layout experience.  FOX Engineering has a total station complete with a robotic transit.  Available to check construction points, screed elevation data, and any small project that may arise.
